Upon recommendation from a co-worker and to put a checkmark on my Schemer app list, we MUNIed to Potrero Hill to check out Chez Papa Bistrot. Overall, a cute little place with a promising menu. The fois with blackberries and the haricot vert with proscuitto were delicious; the fries good; but the mussels lackluster despite a very intriguing apple-curry-cream-wine description. I still don’t get how that tasted bland… puzzling.
Others have had a better experience. Personally, I am ready to go back to Plouf (Belden Place) for another go at their mussels and fries.
A dozen movie pitches that make at least as much sense as Battleship. Genre cliches, wholehearted writing of halfhearted concepts, and clever posters.
Puts me on the edge of my seat for the inevitable Lite Brite musical ensemble sitcomdrama.

i cut a trio of goats into some chocolatey suede (and backed with a superthin leather) intending to make a cuff. not sure what i want to do with this now, but i am charmed by these fellas.
Some mornings when I hear my train pulling into the tube, I imagine it’s the Blazing Fury. Sadly, less animatrons, but thankfully no surprise splashes. No one knowingly whispers as the cars rattle out “They found swarms of snakes around the tracks, one lady got bit” and if they did it wouldn’t add a delicious danger. And instead of funnel cake at the end, there’s a full day of work.
The kid version is better.
