I don’t think there was anyone else who made more progress in bringing design to the people. Steve Jobs led a company that has consistently reinvented personal tech with offerings that are amazing feature-wise, always steeped in beauty, and consumed with the entire user experience. Even opening an Apple box is a treat. Love him or hate him, Jobs has left a permanent mark by teaching us what good design looks and feels like.
