Cupkates - Berkeley, CA
I found out this truck sets up on 4th street weekends so I made a plan to lunch at Tacubaya and get some cupcakes to take home. The day was beautiful and so were the baked goodies. We tried the smores, salted caramel, Guinness chocolate, and tiramisu. Each was good but none were so good that I would crave them or go chasing the truck again. They did look lovely though and had some interesting flavors. I think they just didn’t push it far enough.
In other news, I did fall in love with a coffee shop at Sur La Table. A nice sunny day, strolling, shopping, feeling good.
